Questions clients ask.

How fast can you shortlist?

Shortlists typically arrive within two working days of a complete brief. The recruiter who covers your market reads it the same day and comes back with questions or a first shortlist.

Are the engineers employed by Riviot?

It depends on the engagement. Riviot can act as employer of record or agent of record, or you can engage the engineer directly. We agree which at the start, and it shows as its own line.

What does vetting actually check?

Vio scores every engineer on six dimensions: technical depth, execution, judgment, communication, reliability and range, with scenarios written for the role. Certifications are declared until a reviewer checks them. How we vet sets out each stage.

Can you work through our integrator?

Yes. Riviot can supply into your integrator’s programme or directly to you. We say which at the start and we keep to it.

More questions

What happens if someone does not show up?

Reliability is one of the six scored dimensions, so a record of turning up is on the card before you meet anyone. If someone does not arrive, tell your recruiter and they will work from the rest of the shortlist.

Do you cover security-cleared work?

Yes. Clearance and site access requirements are captured at brief stage, and the shortlist is filtered on them before you see it. Clearance status is shown on the card.

How do you price?

You see the rate, our margin and the total before you commit. Rates move with the role, the market, certifications and shifts. The project talent cost calculator gives an indicative range.

Which markets do you cover?

Six launch markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Northern Virginia and the DC belt, Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey, London and Manchester. Many engineers travel, and several markets are in the second wave.
